Cross training keeps you actively pursuing your goal with a fresh outlet for energy. Low-impact, non-weight bearing activities like Spinning and Yoga have been proven to improve overall sport specific fitness.

Dawn draws upon her love of cycling, many years of training and a life long commitment to health and fitness, and brings the spinGym experience to CGI.

... What is it?
Spinning is an aerobic exercise that takes place on a specially designed stationary bicycle called (obviously enough) a spin bike. As you pedal, motivating music plays and the instructor, talks you through an intense visualization ride. The Spin Program at C.G.I., along with Master spin instructor,Dawn DeSimone offers an intense, calorie burning, energizing, fun workout! Classes are speciallydesigned to help individuals of all ages and levels of ability, achieve their goals of being fit and healthy. Participants will improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance and increase flexibility. A one hour spin class could burn as many as700 calories!!!
